Born in Brittany in the 70′s and now living in India. Nikolaz Godet has photographed in more than 40 countries. He came for the first time in India in 2005 and for last 10 years he made it his home. He decided first to explore and document the diversity of the subcontinent through black and white photography, from the remote villages of the countryside to the bustling megalopoles.
Besides he has covered eclectic international events, from Formula 1 Grand Prix to the legendary 24 hours of Le Mans, the Anna Hazare’s uprising, the Mumbai Fashion week, the Kumbh Mela – largest pilgrimage in the world.
He worked under assignment with Red Bull, BBC, the FIA, Motorsport.com, various photo agencies and fashion designers. Over the years, he has specialized in portraiture, lifestyle and motorsport photography.
